Ralph Jenkins (72), a finisher on No. 1 Line, New Assembly Hall, retired recently after 15 years’ service. 
Ralph hails from Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, and served in the Royal Navy in the 1939- 45 War.
He started at Coventry in Body Prep, then moved to No. 21 Shop, and finally to Assembly Hall.
From his workmates, Mr W. Butler, foreman, presented a sum of money and thanked him for his service. Mr and Mrs. Jenkins have three daughters, two being teachers and one a doctor.
