It is with deep regret to record he death after a short illness of Mr C. A. Phillips, Drawing Office Executive of The Standard Motor Co. Ltd. 
He joined the Company in 1930 after experience as a Civil Engineer in Lancashire. Mr. Phillips was choirmaster at St. John the Baptist Church, Westwood Heath, near Coventry. Many suppliers to the Company, to whom he was very well known, will miss him. All extend their sympathy to his wife and two daughters.
