Cyril Wright (65), retired from the Company recently after nearly 35 years’ service in Spares Division at Coventry.
Cyril worked for Salvage Department for a short time when he first joined but soon moved to Spares Division on stock auditing.
SERVED ALL DEPARTMENTS
During his years in Spares Division. Cyril served under seven different managers, and in many capacities. Before the war he did auditing, progress work, and even van driving. After the war he worked on unit reconditioning and later helped to develop the Spares bin location system.
SPARES PRESENTATION
On behalf of Cyril’s many friends and colleagues Mr George Durand presented a cheque, with a Teasmade outfit, and thanked him for his splendid service. Mr and Mrs Wright are content to remain at 256 Tomkinson Road, Nuneaton. Cyril is a member of the St John Ambulance Brigade. He will keep up his church work, and his work on a Senior Citizen Welfare Committee.
