George Cox, a spray painter in Final Finish, Canley, retired after over 22 years’ service.

George joined Standard Triumph after the war, and made many friends through his work. From them he received a sum of money and an electric clock, presented by foreman R. Holton. Mr and Mrs Cox live at 84 Leicester Road, Bedworth, where George has a garden with a greenhouse to occupy his leisure. Their son is in Australia, where they have two grandchildren.
