HARRY SUTTON (65), retired from No. 1 Line in the Assembly Hall, after 18 years’ service as a bodymaker.
Harry first started in the old No. 15 Shop on the Standard 8 model. From workmates, foreman W. Butler presented a sum of money and thanked him for his service. Mr. and Mrs. Sutton live at 32 Hathaway Road, Tile Hill, and they have one son. Harry has his garden and his Morris car. In the 1920s Harry was well known as a works footballer in the Coventry and District League.
