Fabulous photo sent into the StandardTriumph archive http://www.standardtriumphworks.co.uk – looking completely smitten is the Canley Social Club groundsman, John Egginton with a ladies (football?) team.
Sadly no date (1940’s, early fifties?) or reference to the team itself although there is a suggestion the ladies worked in the Canteen. Any familiar faces for anyone?
The two ladies (from left, imagine numbering 2 and 4) look very similar. Perhaps sisters?
