Nick Downes – Herald Trim

I started in 1968 when I left School.
As a junior worker I worked in the gear box shop, 21 shop, dud line and roller test. When I finished my training I worked in the Herald trim shop. I worked with Joe Heads. My father also worked there Don Downes. I left in 1974.
