Soon after the Reverend Denis Claringbull moved to Coventry last year as Industrial Chaplain, which includes ministering the Standard Triumph Coventry factories, his wife gave birth to a pair of bonny babies. He and his wife already had two children, and the latest arrivals delighted them.
Aged 38, the Reverend Claringbull and his wife have taken up residence in Earlsdon, not far from our Canley factory, and the Industrial Chaplain has been out and about in our various works many times since then. Prior to moving to Coventry, the Reverend Claringbull was Industrial Chaplain for ten years in Croydon. The present Bishop of Coventry, Dr. Cuthbert Bardsley, also came from Croydon before being appointed to Coventry.

Our new Industrial Chaplain did National Service in the R.A.F. as a air radio mechanic, and has also had some experience in commerce. He is keenly interested in human problems in industry, and is currently studying for the Institute of Personnel Management Diploma. His leisure interests are music and photography.
